Caddies and Golf: A Dynamic Duo

What Caddies DO for the Game

A caddie is so meaningful to golf!  Not just the round of golf that the caddie works, but the sport of golf!  The complete industry of golf.  Everything related to Golf!  Rising tide floats all boats!  Nothing is more true, than when you take a qualified caddie on a golf round.

Pace of Play is the Heartbeat of a Golf Course

A caddie will optimize each groups pace of play.  By helping clean divots, clubs, and ball marks.  From raking of traps, to having the distances down as you decide your club, a caddie is there to make sure their golfer is not wasting moments focused on things not related to their next shot.

A pace of play manager within the pace of play!

Caddies reduce turnover for golf courses.  Assistant Pro and Cart barn positions can offset typically low wages with high pay, on demand, supplemental income that keeps them in the field they love and leverages their demonstrated knowledge and expertise. Caddies bring additional revenue to the course.  Adding a caddy adds another “mouth” to feed on property that day.  Golfers spend more on property when they have caddies.

Caddies and the Community

Caddies are good for the local community.  Caddying is a $30 - $50 an hour on demand 4/5 hour shift, job or side hustle. Nothing will open up the eyes of non golfers faster than an easy access, fun, $30-$50 an hour job.

More people falling in love with golf, working within golf, watching, reading or buying golf apparel is WONDERFUL for the sport of GOLF!

Caddies offer amateur golfers the “Pro” experience.  Amateurs get to taste the “Pro” experience only adding to their appreciation of the sport and the professionals who play it.

Wear and Tear Professionals

A caddie is also a wear and repair manager.  A caddy takes care of the course as soon as the course needs it.  In addition to the course being properly and diligently attended to, the caddie helps demonstrate to their golfers proper technique with regard to protecting and repairing the course.

A caddie will help golfers score better. Course management is 100% transferable from caddie to golfer and two heads are better than one.  A caddie can’t help YOU play better but they can help you navigate the course with improved strategy and expertise.  Improving the product of golf.

Integrity

A caddie adds integrity to scores! Every day in golf, an amateur competitive golf event takes place. Often, with the option to buy extra or free shots.  Inevitably, the scores are often shockingly low, and the system invites scrutiny.  Or the prizes are significant enough to inspire some golfers to lose their integrity.  Adding a caddie to amateur competitive events ensures everyone can have confidence and a fair chance when they participate.  Making these events more enjoyable for everyone.

Swinging around

A caddie enhances any round of golf. Whatever the reason for playing golf that day, a caddie makes it better.  Allowing golfers to focus on why they golf to begin with.  A first class ticket that makes the industry as a whole stronger and better across the board.  Added revenue for the course. Enhanced product for the golfer, Better care and pace of play, Integrity of scores, A complete celebration of the Majesty of Golf! And all flowing from just adding a caddie!
