How we started…

Co-Founders M Brett Jaffee and David Rider have known each other and been friends for 45 years. Having first met in Jr. High School in 1978 and later re-schooling together at Florida State University in 1986. Over the years they have vacationed together with families, and played over 1,000 rounds of golf together. David and M Brett played golf in December 2020 as they often had but it was their first time using a caddie. It was on that outing that they conceived the idea for Caddy Time. Very soon after introducing the concept to Bryan Rosenfarb, and the idea has been soaring ever since.

    CO-FOUNDER/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

    M Brett Jaffee has been a lifelong golfer and entrepreneur. A graduate of Florida State University in 1988, M Brett’s career took off in Orlando working for Electronic Selection Systems. With Electronic Selection Systems, later AlignMark, M Brett travelled around the country and Canada working with the Fortune 1000 creating and deploying selection and development processes. After AlignMark, M Brett began leading start up organizations and Co-founded the production company, Blue Dolphin Films. Blue Dolphin films would go on to develop many local and national projects including the internationally award winning short film, “Stuck”. Starring Ken Howard and Wendie Malick. In 1992 he co-founded the McJAFF Invitational golf tournament. Now in it’s 30th year and the subject of the 2021 Documentary, “McJAFF: Golf’s Unknown Major”.

    M Brett would also co-found and manage The Orlando Film Festival from 2003 – 2011.

    M Brett has made a career of thinking outside the box and, with David Rider, conceived and founded Caddy Time in 2020. M Brett and his wife Deborah live In Orlando and have a blended family of 6 children.

  • David Rider

    CO-FOUNDER/CHIEF STRATEGIST

    Caddy Time is David’s second Technology Start Up.

    David’s first start up business was as Co-Founder of C-Level Consulting which focused on utilizing Data to transform businesses into the Digital Age and to improve their efficiencies in Waste, Water and Energy.

    Prior to Founding C- Level Consulting David spent 20 years in Telecommunications and Technology, with Verizon and CenturyLink, where he grew the client base, decreased expenditures and increased both direct and indirect sales by assisting clients in implementing large data networks.

    David has always had a love of sports, playing college basketball and baseball, then graduating from Florida State with a degree in Media (Sports) Performance. While at FSU, he hosted a television production show which included One On One weekly interviews with the Legendary Bobby Bowden, which led to his first job as a Sports Reporter for ABC Television.

  • Bryan Rosenfarb

    CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

    Bryan Rosenfarb would be considered an amateur golfer, on a good day. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Bryan’s career in technology took off as he worked with local government implementing enterprise software.

    While at Pioneer Technology Group, Bryan had the privilege of managing over 20 projects simultaneously as well as managing a team of 9 project managers.

    As a child, Bryan had an insatiable hunger to understand how things work and this lead to him “pushing buttons” in order to find out what happened next. This curiosity has helped Bryan be success in so many personal and professional settings over the years.

    As a father of 2, Bryan values the time that he spends with his family and has really learned the value of true connection over the last few years.

    Ryan O'Donnell

    CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

    Ryan O’Donnell has been a lifelong golfer, caddie, and entrepreneur. He started his golf career as a caddie at the Oakmont Country Club from 14 to 22 years old.

    After graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2018 and serving in the U.S. Army National Guard until 2019, Ryan’s career began in the oil and gas industry then switched into several technical roles.

    Ryan took his technical and creative excellence to the next level by starting his own design and development agency in 2020 which lead him to meeting M Brett Jaffee and ultimately, his position within Caddy Time.

  • Nick Bauer

    Nicholas Bauer

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Nicholas Bauer is from the Central Wisconsin area. After high school, Nicholas attended the Golf Academy of America - San Diego, with a focus in Golf Complex Operations and Management, along with Golf Instruction. After graduating in 2008, Nicholas worked in the golf industry for 10 years as an Assistant Golf Professional. His most recent position at a green grass facility was Tuckaway Country Club (Franklin, WI) in 2018 where he was Caddie Manager, along with his Assistant Golf Professional duties. Nicholas’ expertise is golf in Wisconsin & Midwest areas.

    Nicholas and his wife Rebecca celebrated the birth of their daughter Adalynn in April of 2021. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing whenever possible and adventures with the family dog, Vada.

    Nicholas is excited for the new adventure and his continued growth in the golf industry at Caddy Time!
